Orthodox Education
Orthodox Curriculum and Education
As parents, teachers, homeschoolers, Sunday School teachers, and godparents, our task of educating the Orthodox child is unique. Many educational philosophies undergird the great potpourri of modern-day education. No matter which style of education one might tend toward, however, our common goal as Orthodox Christians is the very illumination of the soul, and this goal is shared by the great saints, priests, and teachers of our faith throughout our long history. Here we offer resources to help and inspire Orthodox educators in this holy task. This page is currently under construction and we invite you to submit helpful excerpts, essays, or quotes which follow our Orthodox philosophy and could fall under one of the headings below. You can use the message posting section at the bottom of the page, or email your material to us at info@anaphorapress.com or macrina440@mac.com
